-2020年度は、東西講座ともに『化学特講I』から『化学特講』に名称変更され「I」が外された。
--『[[化学特講II(無機化学の重点整理)]]』の廃止に伴う名称変更と思われる。
-かつては、冬の『化学特講I』は『化学特講I(有機化学の完全征服)』だった。
-元々は「化学特講（難問研究）」（1985年度頃）で、その後、冬の『化学特講I』は『化学特講I(有機化学の完全征服)』だった。
--1997年度はまだ『化学特講I(有機化学の完全征服)』。
*特徴 [#r8413373]
-夏期の『[[化学特講I(計算問題)]]』とは違い、【HG】ではない。

*テキスト [#j415c82d]
-作成者は北山一先生。
-テキストの質は良く、入試本番までに何度も解き直すことで万全の状態で入試に臨めるだろう。
-演習問題は全部で12問で、1日3題ずつが目安。最初の2日は理論、最後の2日は有機をやる。
--受験生にとって解きにくいと思われるような問題を中心に構成されている。
--前年度の入試問題からなる。演習問題、自習問題共に東大、京大を含めた難関国公立大の問題が多い印象。
--問題毎の難易度の差が激しい。担当講師によっては「ぬるい」と感じ、問題の差し替えや追加が行われることも。
-テキストの一部に北山一先生が授業で使うレジュメプリントと同じものが使用されている。
-東日本地区の『化学特講(総合実力完成)』（細川豊→吉田隆弘編）とは別物。
*授業 [#g887f653]
-主に理論と有機を中心に扱う(無機は理論絡みしか出ないので注意)。
--ただし、無機は理論と絡んだものしか出題していないので、各論などをやりたければ『無機・有機化学の総整理』などの方が良い。

-『化学総合実力完成』という名の割に、天然有機化合物の分野を1日分演習問題で扱っていたりする。
-演習問題に少し苦手な分野があれば、予習時にテキストの後ろ半分にある課題研究でその分野だけ補っておくとより授業が分かりやすくなるだろう。
